Nordson Series 70 Mixers are designed for high-pressure applications that use two-component materials (adhesives and sealants). In-line mixer housings are made from 304 stainless steel. The spiral elements are made with 316 stainless steel and are NON-REMOVABLE. The elements are permanently joined to the housing by nicobrazing1. Non-removable element mixers can be cleaned for re-use by flushing with solvent after use. Alternatively, the mixer may be cleaned via furnace cleaning - the maximum furnace temperature should not exceed 1250° F (676° C).

Nordson (TAH) in-line static mixers are used for mixing epoxy, silicone, acrylic, methacrylate, polyurethane, polysulfide and other adhesives as well as sealants and coatings.
Inline static mixers are used for many chemical process applications and are particularly suited for high pressure and temperature processes.
Footnote (1): Brazing is a metal-to-metal joining process whereby a non-ferrous filler metal alloy is heated to melting temperature (above 800°F) and distributed between two or more close-fitting parts by capillary attraction. The molten filler metal interacts with a thin layer of the base metal, cooling to form an exceptionally strong, sealed joint. Nicobrazing utilizes nickel-based alloys.
